This four-day event is a unique gravel stage race that challenges participants with rough terrain, intense heat, and wildlife encounters, all set in one of Africa’s most iconic and scenic locations. The film captures the endurance and camaraderie of the riders as they face the physical and mental demands of this “wildest gravel race in the world,” while celebrating resilience, diversity, and the spirit of adventure.

Mr Cato is an elementary school teacher and pro BMX Flatlander, who changes his students lives through teaching them how to ride and care for bikes, while attempting to bring his sport of BMX Flatland back from the brink of extinction in the US. While overcoming his own struggles and vying for a spot in the Summer Olympics, Mr. Cato is using the two wheels that have given him so much to make the world a better place.

In honor of a dear friend (Jonathan) gone too soon Nicolas de Miranda present this short film of remembrance. Three years later, Nicolas contacted Gabriel Frilando, who many know by his moniker: CheatDeathNYC. As the main subject of “NYC IsHandsome” [a short film about cycling based in the boroughs of Brooklyn and Manhattan], Gabriel was the focus and reason that initially brought Jonathan and Nicolas together for the first of many collaborations. In honor of Jonathan, Nicolas wanted to return to where it all began, a complete full circle, with Gabriel, a bicycle and the streets of New York City.
